The new logo was created with input from SIA members, the Board of Directors and the SIA Marketing Committee
The new logo reflects a more global, simplified representation of SIA

Jay Hauhn, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Security Industry Association (SIA), unveiled the organisation’s new logo on March 28, 2012 at the ISC West show in Las Vegas.

The new logo, which was created with input from SIA members, the Board of Directors and the SIA Marketi ng Committee, reflects a more contemporary, global, simplified representation of SIA as the primary resource for the security industry.

“Our logo redesign is a reflection of the strategy outlined by our Board of Directors last year,” Hauhn said. “Members told us they wanted a logo that better reflected the organisation. Just as importantly, they wanted a logo that was easy for them to use in their print and online outreach to show that they are SIA members – the recognised thought leaders in the industry.”

In 2011, SIA’s Board of Directors drafted a new strategic plan for the organisation that emphasises member interaction with the organisation, and reaching out to segments of the industry that were not previously part of the organisation’s core membership.

"SIA's new logo is reflective of our membership: strong, progressive, energetic, and leading the industry into the future," said Don Erickson, SIA's CEO.

SIA members can access the new membership button through the Resource Library on the SIA website. Requests for hi-res version for use in print materials should be sent to Rob Traister, SIA’s manager of communications.
