Previously, Pedro served as IP Sales Support Executive for CBC Europe
Pedro will work closely with installers and distributors to provide pre-sales support in system design

Samsung has recruited Pedro Correia to take on the newly created role of UK Pre-Sales Manager.

Pedro has worked within the video surveillance industry for seven years. Immediately prior to joining Samsung he was IP Sales Support Executive for CBC Europe and he has also carried out a Sales Engineering role for Indigo Vision.

Reporting to Simon Shawley, General Manager, UK and Ireland for Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd, Pedro will work closely with installers, system integrators and distributors to provide pre-sales support in respect of system design, product specification and tender compliance issues.

“Pedro’s appointment to this newly created role reflects the recent dramatic growth in interest in Samsung IP network based video surveillance solutions and our determination to offer outstanding pre as well as post-sales support to our customers throughout the UK,” said Simon Shawley. “Pedro’s extensive knowledge of Video over IP technology will be put to very good use as part of our process of encouraging our business partners to  recommend Samsung IP network based solutions and be confident that they will meet, if not exceed, their clients’ expectations.”

The appointment of Pedro follows on from the recent appointments of Laurent Plusquellec as UK Technical Manager and Farooq Hejazi as a Field Service and Test Engineer, and is a further demonstration of Samsung’s ongoing commitment to provide the best possible support for its UK customers.
