The latest version of Samsung's Net-i Ware recording software features an increased recording throughput of 250mbps to provide the bandwidth required to record the latest generation of Samsung HD megapixel cameras.

Version 1.33 of Net-i Ware makes it possible to achieve a real-time IP network based recording solution that can simultaneously record and playback superb quality images from VGA resolution up to the latest 3 megapixel Full HD Samsung network cameras. In fact, Net-i Ware has the power to process and record up to 64 Samsung 1.3 megapixel HD cameras in real-time across all channels when running on appropriate computer hardware.

NET-i Ware recording management software is designed to facilitate the administration, full control, monitoring and recording of images captured by Samsung's iPOLiS megapixel and network camera and dome ranges, and allow images to be recorded and played back via a PC across the network. Samsung's design engineers have packed the NET-i Ware software with an extensive feature list to ensure operators are able to take full advantage of the latest IP technology, including customisable user accounts and a built-in web-viewer, to allow users to login from any PC with a browser from anywhere in the world.

The device registration process of the NET-i Ware software allows an operator to almost effortlessly register, modify or delete up to 64 Network devices and configure each one individually for scheduled pre and post event recording. Various compression methods are supported, including H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG. Multiple back-up video formats are also supported, as are a number of audio formats, e.g. G.726, G.711, G.723 and PCM.

Available in 8,16,32 and 64 channel versions, (and a licence-free four channel version), NET-i Ware is supplied with full support services from Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd, including free system design, free technical support and a full three-year warranty.
