Samsung Techwin America, a global supplier of video surveillance and security products delivering superior performance and value, announces availability of the new iPOLiS Mobile app for remote video viewing of Samsung's iPOLiS network video cameras and digital video recorders (DVRs) using either the iPhone or Android mobile platforms. Users may download the app by searching the appstore or marketplace for "iPolis."

The new iPOLiS mobile app enables viewing of live video and basic pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) control and is compatible with Samsung network video surveillance cameras as well as several 4/8/16 Channel Samsung DVRs running version 1.06 firmware (please see app for a list of compatible devices).

The possibilities are endless. "

Samsung iPOLiS DVRs compatible with the new mobile apps are the SRD-470D (four- channel), SRD-850DC and SRD-870DC (eight-channel); and SRD-1650DC and SRD-1670DC (sixteen-channel) digital video recorders running version 1.06 firmware.
