German National Transportation Agency’s project will distribute over 8 million e-tickets in the next 4 years
ZeitControl together with Samsung Electronics developed a flexible and fast running BasicCard applet

ZeitControl cardsystems GmbH a developer of smart card operation systems (OS), is contributing the BasicCard RFID to a project run by the “German National Transportation Agency (VDV)” – which will distribute over 8 million e-tickets in the next 4 years.

The e-ticket is a contactless payment system for the local public transport. ZeitControl, as OS provider, together with Samsung Electronics, developed a flexible, cost-effective and fast running BasicCard applet. The ticket using ZeitControl’s applet makes travelling quicker and safer without having to deal with different card systems.
