AMG displayed AMG9022/24 multi-service ethernet switch series also known by clients as ‘the wonderbox’
AMG also showcased TotemCam360 - recently designated "product of the month" by a major Industry magazine

AMG Systems, the British manufacturer of sophisticated Megapixel cameras and CCTV transmission technology, launched their new ‘mini’ TotemCam360 at the main US security technology show – ISC West - in Las Vegas, USA - April 10-12 2013.

Sara Bullock, International Sales & Marketing Director at AMG Group, says, “It’s the first time that AMG invested in exhibition space at ISC West and we were very excited to be able to launch a new product at the show. PaNVR360 has been specifically developed to address CCTV applications where space is at a premium and where a separate Network Video Recorder (NVR) is not practical. The small form factor unit comes with an on-board NVR up to 1 Terabyte. The NVR allows for both internal storage and remote viewing/control. All power and data are provided from a PoE 10/100 Mbps connection. As always with AMG products, the solution is easy and straight forward to install with rapid set-up, so minimal planning is needed for implementation.”

At ISC West, AMG also showcased TotemCam360 - which was recently designated ‘product of the month’ by a major Industry magazine.

Also on show was the AMG9022/24 Multi-Service Ethernet Switch Series – affectionately known by clients as ‘the wonderbox’. AMG9022/24 is a hybrid product that bridges IP and analogue technology and reduces both equipment and infrastructure requirements. Historically I/O requirements have been dealt with through the use of third party Serial Port, Audio and Contact-closure I/O servers. Prior to the ‘wonder box’ – this often resulted in a disparate, multi-vendor product mix, with its inherent issues of product configuration and integration. Using a common web-browser interface to manage the configuration of all aspects of the device such as; Ethernet as well as serial ports, audio ports and Alarm I/O, you can either configure your solutions as point-to-point circuits or as virtual circuits if you are working with a Management System. Working through a web browser takes away a lot of the previous hassle and makes the configuration secure, simple and easy to work with. The new switches support 10/100/1000Mbit/s data rates and operate over either CATx cables or fibre cables (using SFP’s). They’re compact, flexible and easy to work with.
