RISCO Group creates IP based integrated security solutions for the global security market
New initiative for RISCO Group in the U.S. market is industry veteran Len Friedman, who has been appointed President and CEO of RISCO Group USA

RISCO Group, a leading provider of integrated security systems, launched a new initiative for 2009 with a presence at ISC West to showcase their new vision, along with their evolving suite of security management solutions. Leading the new initiative for RISCO Group in the U.S. market is industry veteran Len Friedman, who has been appointed President and CEO of RISCO Group USA.

Mr. Friedman formally launched RISCO Group USA in September 2008. The company's parent company, RISCO Group Ltd., has been manufacturing quality security products for 30 years with a presence in the U.S. market that spans over 20 years as Rokonet Industries. Under Mr. Friedman's direction, RISCO Group USA will focus on expanding the company's product offerings to focus on integrated systems solutions that will be developed organically and through select acquisitions.

Mr. Friedman was formerly with Bosch Security Systems where he held several management positions including Vice President of Marketing for the Americas. His industry experience also includes management positions with Ademco/Honeywell where he was one of the founding fathers of First Alert Professional Security Systems.

"While we have a solid history in the security industry, this year RISCO Group USA is taking positive steps to expand our established position from detectors and components to integrated security solutions in the U.S. market," said Mr. Friedman. "Our ultimate objective is to deliver the most flexible, end-to-end security systems solutions backed by superior customer support services. We will be exploring many different existing and new business opportunities to hone our strategy to that end."

RISCO Group USA recently moved into its new headquarters in Melville, New York. The move establishes a new U.S. headquarters for the company that is better located to serve the industry and the distribution channel. Mr. Friedman is actively staffing the new offices and has appointed Robert Barry as RISCO Group USA's Vice President of Operations.

SynopSYS, one of RISCO Group's premier Global solutions, is a sophisticated software platform that enables simplified and completely integrated site management and control via intuitive, drag and drop-based, synoptic maps. SynopSYS is ideal for commercial and public buildings, complexes and distributed organizations. Additional initial product offerings also presently include ProSYS™, an IP based Integrated Security System offering unique Bus detectors and wireless expansion, Agility™, a new Flexible Wireless Solution providing security, safety and home automation that combines

RISCO Group's AGM™ Universal Communication module can be used as a primary or backup GSM communicator connected to any control panel, or as a standalone mini control-panel with integral GSM communication.

An additional component of RISCO Group USA's strategy moving forward is a strong commitment to environmental issues, in manufacturing and beyond. As an important first step in this process, all RISCO Group's products are now certified as RoHS compliant.
