Two Norwich security officers, Richard Markham and John Disspain, have been highly praised for the exceptional service they provide to the general public, customers and staff at Norwich Union's prestigious Marble Hall building in the centre of Norwich.  Richard and John work for Reliance Security Services and have been presented with a special recognition award by Mark Hughes, Norwich Union Operations Services Director.

Richard and John have been working at Marble Hall since September 2006.  Their front of house duties include meeting and greeting visitors to the site, assisting Norwich Union employees with their requirements and - as the site is a Grade 1 listed building - they also escort the public on guided tours for which they have learnt an in-depth history of the building.  They have received a number of commendations from the public and Norwich Union personnel for the role they play as ambassadors for Norwich Union.

On presenting the award, Mark Hughes, Norwich Union Operations Services Director, said, "Richard and John provide an excellent service to Norwich Union here in the Marble Hall and their professionalism, knowledge and commitment are an inspiration.  I am extremely pleased to be able to present them with their awards, in recognition of their exceptional service."
