Tyco Security Products will be unveiling a host of innovative access control, intrusion & video products from its security brands at Intersec, Dubai. The exhibition takes place on 16-18 January at the Dubai International Convention Exhibition Centre. The latest solutions include:

American Dynamics NEW victor Unified Video Management Solution

victor is a unified video management system from American Dynamics that enables users to use both analogue and IP cameras and provides a single solution to manage recorded video from both Intellex DVRs and VideoEdge NVRs. victor's single interface for analogue and IP video management provides a flexible IP migration path for the tens of thousands of Intellex DVR customers. End-users are able to maximise their existing investments in analogue technology while adding NVRs and IP cameras over time. The victor site manager is the brains of the operation - storing data, operator profiles, roles information, and tracking who, what, device status and when operators interact with your video network. victor is a platform for the future - unleashing the power of unifying other security and business applications such as HDVR, access control, intrusion, fire, and more.

HDVR (Hybrid Digital Video Recorder) and latest digital video management systems versions

The latest Intellex features up to 400ips on all models, improved image quality and support for widescreen monitor display while HDVR provides seamless integration with recording of analogue and IP (megapixel) cameras. The ADTVR embedded digital video system utilises H.264 video compression to ensure superior recording and compression. The embedded Linux OS delivers extremely reliable digital video recording in an economical package. Simplicity of operation as a stand-alone unit or as a remotely managed system allows the ADTVR to be widely used in a diverse number of applications.

CEM will exhibit the new version 6.2 software platform of the powerful AC2000 security management system

CEM will exhibit the new version 6.2 software platform of the powerful AC2000 security management system. At Intersec, the AC2000 system will be fully integrated with American Dynamics new Hybrid Digital Video Recorder (HDVR) and DSC PowerSeries intruder alarm panels, showing its powerful integration capabilities. CEM's industry leading Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) access control solution will be on display along with CEM's S610f fingerprint reader and the innovative S3020f hand-held portable fingerprint reader.

Also on display will be CEM's new sPass DESfire smart card reader and personalised DESfire smart card. sPass reader is a highly encrypted contactless smart card reader and connects to the CEM eDCM 350 (intelligent two door controller), which offers an RS485 encrypted link between the reader and the controller. The pre-personalised DESfire smart card features Triple DES (3DES) encrypted data storage which offers the highest level of security when a panel approach is required and combats against the threat of wiegand signal sniffing and card cloning.

The latest C•CURE 9000 access control from Software House saves users valuable time with remote monitoring and system management. iSTAR Edge, a new powerful four-reader IP PoE device, powers all access control devices at the door to minimise costly wiring while the new Site Server is ready-to-go out-of-the-box with pre-installed C•CURE 9000 software.

ALEXOR is a wireless control panel, with integrated voice dialler, which communicates wirelessly to DSC wireless peripherals - both 2-Way and all other DSC 433MHz wireless devices. Now with an integrated voice dialler, ALEXOR is designed for flexible, secure installation locations within the home; as long as there is access to AC power. ALEXOR offers all the reliability of traditional wired/hybrid control panels but with all the convenience that wireless delivers.
