Rainbow will be at IFSEC 2008, held at the Birmingham NEC (pictured) which itself uses Rainbow lenses in its CCTV systemRainbow comes to IFSEC 2008 (stand 16030) knowing that installations of its equipment extend even to the exhibition venue itself - the company's zoom lenses are used on PTZ assemblies throughout the NEC complex.

The company's distribution is worldwide.  Recent applications feature public transport in BP petrol stations across the UK, throughout Dublin city centre and the Channel Tunnel.  Further afield, cameras have been used on the mass transit system in Mexico City.

The Rainbow stand will underline the company's pedigree and levels of customer service.  Already a global company, Rainbow is penetrating new international markets through partnerships with leading distributors and the world's most prominent large-system installers.

Rainbow will be displaying its range of integrated CCTV products with special emphasis on a new mega-pixel varifocal lens.  The 1/3" format lens has a focal length of 2.8-12mm and 1.4 mega-pixel high-resolution.  This F1.4 unit is available in manual and DC auto-iris versions.

Of particular interest will be a true day/night 620-line resolution camera with moving filter between daylight (colour) and night-time (monochrome) modes.  The camera has a built-in UTP transmitter.

Weatherproof IR bullet cameras both fixed focal length and varifocal will also be shown on the stand.
