Exclusive UK/Ireland distributor Pyser-SGI Limited has announced the availability of TV-Logic’s new high quality TSM Series 18.5 inch and 23 inch LCD monitors for CCTV applications.

The TV-Logic 18.5 inch TSM-182W (above) and 23 inch TSM-232W high quality picture monitors from Pyser-SGI are ideal for improved control room monitoring and evidential suites. (Digital images available from Stefan Czich at Pyser-SGI).

The two new monitors will accept a very wide range of input signals from the latest high specification cameras - from analogue composite video through DVI and HDMI computer signals to HD-SDI. Embodying TV-Logic’s industry-leading video processing technology, the TSM Series monitors provide an outstanding viewing angle combined with accurate colour reproduction, making them ideal for enhanced control room monitoring and for use in evidential suites.

The 18.5 inch TSM-182W provides 1366 x 768 (16:9) HD resolution, and the 23 inch TSM-232W provides 1920 x 1080 (16:9) HD resolution. The monitors are housed in metal cases and are supplied with desk stands and VESA mounting points.

Both TSM models feature embedded audio/analogue stereo (phone jack) Audio In, and analogue stereo (phone jack) plus internal speaker (stereo) Audio Out. Firmware can be updated via USB or memory stick, and a remote control package using RS422 is available.

"TSM monitors are based on TV Logic's established line of broadcast monitors, so the picture quality is excellent", said Stefan Czich, General Manager of Pyser-SGI's Broadcast & CCTV Products Division. "With such a wide range of input signals these monitors could be used in a phased upgrade - taking composite video today and moving to HD-SDI when cameras are replaced".
