Pelco will participate in the ISC West Premier Education series
Pelco by Schneider Electric is pleased to announce its participation in the ISC West Premier Education Series at the upcoming conference and trade show in Las Vegas. Moses Ramos, Pelco Training Programs Manager, will be one of six panel participants in the session entitled: "VD04: Image Quality Panel III: Analogue to IP Boot Camp," to be held on the second day of the show, Thursday, April 7, 2:45PM-4:00PM.

"I am very pleased to be participating as a panelist in the Analogue to IP Boot Camp. Pelco has long been recognised as a leader in Video Security manufacturing and I look forward to sharing what is happening in the migration from analogue to IP," Ramos says.

All new to ISC this year is the Thursday Technology Panel Day, with longer and more intensive sessions ranging from one to two hours in length. According to conference organisers, the educational sessions are focused on the business development and technology challenges faced by security professionals today.

"Part of our strategy for the Conference this year was to transition many of our ‘hot topics' into panel discussions so our attendees could get a comprehensive perspective on various issues and technologies," says Arminda Valles-Hall, Director of Education and Training at the Security Industry Association. "Each session has been spearheaded by a member of our Education Advisory Board, ensuring an unbiased and honest debate of the issues."

The Analogue to IP Boot Camp session objectives include:

  • Developing an IP Video Project Roadmap complete with TCO analysis
  • Practice in matching end-user uses/drivers with a proposed system
  • Exploring strategies for maximising the benefits and usage of the system post-deployment.

The Pelco booth - number 16042 - will feature many new products as well as Pelco Analytics Technology.
