Pelco is pleased to announce that Mr. Dean Meyer has joined the management team of Pelco as its new Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Mr. David L. McDonald, Pelco CEO.  Meyer comes to Pelco from TAC Americas in Texas where he was President.

"Dean's addition to our Pelco management group will bring us invaluable TAC / Schneider insight, along with his very impressive general management expertise," says McDonald.  "I have known Dean for some time and feel very fortunate to have attracted him to Pelco to fill this newly created, most important position."

During Meyer's seven-year tenure as president of TAC Americas, he grew that business five fold to its current $500 million annual volume level.  Prior to that, Meyer held a number of key management positions within CSI, which later became TAC Americas.  Meyer joined TAC in 1993 as product division vice president and managed the Manufacturing, Engineering, Partner Sales, and Customer Service departments.  Meyer's previous experience includes manufacturing and purchasing roles at Texas Instruments.

Meyer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.  He and his family will be relocating from Dallas to the Fresno/Clovis area.

"I am very excited to be joining Pelco and look forward to this new opportunity and the synergies it will provide," Meyer says.
