Dan Smith will manage domestic U.S. Sales for 19 western states
Mr. Smith has worked for MDI Security Systems, ASSA ABLOY, Mace Security International, Sielox and InfoGraphic Systems Corp.

PCSC, a leading supplier of products and services for electronic access control and facility management applications in domestic and international markets, recently announces the hiring of Dan Smith as Western Regional Sales Manager, U.S. In this role, Dan Smith will manage the Domestic U.S. Sales for 19 western states.

With over 40 years in the Security Industry, Mr. Smith has worked for such companies as MDI Security Systems, ASSA ABLOY, Mace Security International, Sielox and InfoGraphic Systems Corp., among others. Throughout his career he has successfully increased sales, improved operations and established key relationships while gaining invaluable experience with titles ranging from Installer to General Manager. Most recently Mr. Smith managed the completion of a Regional Training Center for ASSA ABLOY, where he was awarded for his successful efforts. Having worked for PCSC 12 years ago as a Distribution Manager, Mr. Smith has decided to return to help maintain the Western territory's dealership base and establish new growth as demand increases. Dan will be based out of the PCSC Corporate Offices in Torrance, when he's not traveling.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Smith served six years as a US Navy Radioman 2nd Class Petty Officer. Smith is an active ASIS International Member and is Board Certified as both a Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP), among many other industry certifications and memberships such as the Security Industry Association and the International Association of Healthcare Security & Safety. Dan has been married for 36 years to his wife Melinda, he has 3 children, 4 grandchildren and resides in Long Beach, CA. Dan's hobbies include: target shooting, flying and reading.
