The new cameras deliver the utmost picture quality in Full-HD 1080p, even under very low light conditions
The pan-tilt wireless network cameras provide HD 1280x720p images and high sensitivity Day/Night function

With sensitivity as low as 0.06  lux and as one of the most light sensitive Full-HD camera ranges  in today’s industry, Panasonic proudly introduces the latest additions in the i-Pro SmartHD range of surveillance solutions, the Mega SuperDynamic Network Dome and Wireless Network Cameras. The new cameras deliver the utmost picture quality in Full-HD 1080p, even under very low light conditions.

Recently at IFSEC 2012 PSCEU is pleased to announce the latest news in the progression of PSCEU Pro-Camera Solutions business solutions.

With full ratification from ONVIF, the specification that defines a common protocol for network video devices including automatic device discovery, video streaming and intelligence metadata, Panasonic promises installers and end users some of the most advanced features and best return on investment available in the security technology market today.

The Pan-tilt Wireless Network Cameras provides HD 1280x720p images and high sensitivity Day/Night function. The camera offers face detection software capabilities and a built in body heat sensor using Pyroelectric infrared technology.

The range of cameras has a Wireless LAN Function whereby the cameras can be monitored over a wireless router. The Internet mode allows H.264 images to be transmitted over HTTP protocol.

Additional to the security surveillance portfolio of Panasonics, the MEGA SuperDynamic Range and a host of intelligent features have Auto Back focus ensuring stable focus in both colour and black and white mode, as well as easy installation reducing installation time and ensuring perfect image. Hosted in a vandal resistant body, the WV-SW559 and WV-SF548 have an IP66 standard rate which ensures water and dust resistance and mechanism for higher reliability. With Panasonic MEGA SuperDynamic Range and ABS (Adaptive Black Stretch) technology on board, range delivers 128x wider dynamic range compared with conventional surveillance cameras. Face Super Dynamic technology is designed to ensure the clearest facial images are reproduced, whilst high sensitivity functionality is possible with 0.5lux sensitivity in colour mode and 0.06lux in mono at F-stop 1.4 aperture providing true 24 hour day / night performance. Up to 2Tb can be stored on the optional SD XC  card inside of the camera.

Up to 1920 x 1080p Full-HD resolution images are delivered across the network through multiple H.264 and JPEG encoded streams for simultaneous real time monitoring and Full-HD recording which is powered by UniPhier, the proprietary Panasonic system LSI platform.  At 1080p Full-HD resolution, progressive scan images are produced at no less than 30 frames per second, enabling security professionals to see every detail and movement necessary to provide the best possible surveillance recording and monitoring and resulting in better delivery of total security management.

Variable Image Quality on Specified Area to Reduce Demand on Bandwidth

VIQS (Variable Image Quality on Specified area) functionality decreases the burden on precious network bandwidth with a maximum 50%  reduction impact on data throughput. Users specify the exact area of the image that is affected by VIQS via an easy to use cropping function. Up to 4 image capture areas can be specified, and it is also possible apply VIQS on Full-HD images of 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and portions of the image simultaneously at 640 x 360 resolution.

An Intelligent Solution for the Smartest Installers

Jeroen Cleijne, Security Product Manager at Panasonic System Company Europe explains; “This really is an incredible surveillance camera, it’s really outstanding performance and it’s packed with the most advanced features available anywhere.  The full technical specification of WV-SP509 is available on our website and we are expecting a huge response, especially from top tier installers who are seeking the highest quality solutions and the greatest return on their customers’ investments.  The camera features our newly developed 3.1 megapixel double speed MOS sensor which makes Full-HD images possible under very low light conditions and reduced power consumption by 10%  this is in direct response to what the security industry has asked for”.
