Panasonic's i-Pro Certified Reseller Program
Panasonic's i-Pro Certified Reseller Programme greatly expands opportunities for the sales channel
Panasonic System Solutions is committed to providing a knowledgeable and well-trained sales channel to respond to the growing demand for Panasonic's i-Pro line of IP-based video surveillance technologies. Evidence of that commitment is the tremendous growth of Panasonic's i-Pro Certified Reseller Programme, which promotes education and training to resellers to better enable them to design, implement and support new installations in the IP security market. The programme also provides exclusive product availability, sales and technical training and other support resources through Panasonic's i-Pro Authorised Distributors.

"Panasonic is increasing its focus on our i-Pro product line as the industry transitions to IP-based systems, and we understand that selling these systems requires a higher level of knowledge along with different skill-sets," said John Centofanti, National Sales Manager for Security Systems of Panasonic System Solutions Company. "Our i-Pro Certified Reseller Programme greatly expands opportunities for the sales channel by making sure they are prepared with comprehensive training and support to help end users maximise the effectiveness of these new systems incorporating Panasonic's superior image quality."

In order to become certified, the i-Pro Certified Reseller Programme requires resellers to complete minimum training requirements related to Internet protocol (IP) or information technology (IT) and specific to Panasonic's i-Pro product line. P-Tech, the Panasonic Training University, manages certification for all i-Pro Certified Resellers and candidates. Any Panasonic Authorised Dealer or other reseller can be nominated or apply for consideration to become an i-Pro Certified Reseller. Dedicated i-Pro Certified Reseller resources and information are available in a special area on Panasonic's website.

The i-Pro Certified Reseller Program streamlines product distribution by using three i-Pro Authorized Distributors to ensure product availability directly to resellers, working in tandem with Panasonic's manufacturer's representatives and field sales team. The i-Pro Certified Authorised Distributors are Anixter, Inc., Northern Video Systems and ScanSource Security Distribution.

Other benefits of the programme include availability of subsidised demo equipment, resource-rich sales tools and marketing materials and quick dissemination of i-Pro sales leads. i-Pro sales and technical training is provided through P-Tech, and Panasonic's National Technical Support Center (NTSC) hotline provides resellers access to experienced and highly trained professionals in IP/networking products and systems.

i-Pro Certified Resellers also benefit from Panasonic's exceptional brand recognition, along with their marketing investments to develop end-user demand for the complete line of IP-based products, including fixed, mini-dome, pan-tilt-zoom, vandal-proof, and megapixel camera models, NVRs, software and other products.
