The latest range of i-Pro Smart HD 360 degree network dome cameras from Panasonic, the WV-SW400/WV-SF400 series, are designed with the signature Panasonic reliability and more than 50 years of security camera experience.
The entire series offers a wide viewing angle of 360 degrees which enables large area overviews to be obtained or alternatively a double panorama which can enable users to view incoming and outgoing customers simultaneously. This will enable cost-saving in three ways; end-users will be able to secure more space for less, there will be reduced power consumption as only one camera will be needed instead of two and there will be reduced installation costs.
The advanced SW400/SF400 series also feature VMD, which can be programmed to trigger email alerts and other alarm outputs when movement is detected in one of the 4 pre-selected areas. VMD enables security personnel to automatically be notified of possible security concerns and reduce their response time. What's more, the VMD can control the 72 x zoom PTZ camera with auto tracking. This way the WV-SW400/SF400 can control cameras in the network, making it possible to shift their focus to any desired area and start tracking and tracing when required for better identification.
As well as offering 360 degree viewing VMD and the WV-SW400/WV-SF400 series offers on-camera storage for back up. This means that if there is a network failure the camera will start automatic back up. If the network recovers the backup footage will be automatically sent to the NVR. The addition of the raid 5/6 hard disc backup system to NVR will also mean all crucial footage will always be available.
Face Detection and Mega Super Dynamic range technologies further enhances the WV-SW400/WV-SF400 series, ensuring clear and focused facial images are captured for identification purposes. Face Detection functionality provides benefits in security. Face Detection can be used to send a signal to security personnel when known criminals or trouble causers are on-site.
