Optelecom-NKF and Traficon initiated their collaboration in 2008
Intelligent IP video networking combined with cutting-edge traffic analytics

Optelecom-NKF, Inc., a leading global producer of advanced IP video surveillance solutions marketed under the brand Siqura®, today announced its partnership with AID expert, Traficon, and Swedish systems integrator, ISG, in presenting the Siqura TrafficServer™ at ITS Stockholm 2009 (September 21-25, 2009).

Optelecom-NKF and Traficon initiated their collaboration in 2008 with the intention of developing the industry's first ever codec module incorporating AID algorithms and storage. With Optelecom-NKF's longstanding expertise in field-hardened surveillance solutions and Traficon's proficiency in video detection technology, the joint development has led to the creation of the Siqura TrafficServer.

This intelligent platform provides authorities moving towards IP solutions with a sophisticated instrument to improve traffic flow and safety. The Siqura TrafficServer was keenly received by a select number of key stakeholders in the transportation industry who were previewed the product. Hence, the Siqura TrafficServer has already been included in the design of various ITS projects worldwide.

Optelecom-NKF and Traficon, with the local support of ISG, will launch the Siqura TrafficServer at the world congress and exhibition, ITS Stockholm 2009.

Come see the Siqura TrafficServer at ITS, stand Z 143.
