ReServ Series include supervisory status LED indicators, AC fail and low battery reporting
ReServ Series provides back up power and ensures that continuous power supply is provided to the camera

Altronix highlighted its comprehensive line of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions for video surveillance applications at ISC West 2011. The UL-listed ReServ Series is the cost-effective solution to provide emergency back-up power and ensure continuous camera operation. The series includes the ReServ1, ReServ2 and ReServ3, which are designed to provide true sine-wave regulated 24VAC or regulated 12VDC for camera power or both simultaneously during normal, brown-out and power outage conditions. Also included in the series are the ReServ1WP, ReServe2WP and ReServ3WP housed in NEMA4/IP66-rated enclosures to withstand harsh outdoor environments.

The ReServ1 and ReServ1WP offer 12 outputs at 24VAC (rated @ 4 amps) and four outputs at 12VDC (rated @ 2 amps). ReServ2 and ReServe2WP feature 16 outputs at 24VAC (rated @ 4 amps). ReServ3 and ReServ3WP provide 16 outputs at 12VDC (rated @ 8 amps). All of the units feature either true sine wave regulated 24VAC outputs or regulated 12VDC outputs, or both. To ensure smooth power transition in the event of a power outage, the ReServ Series features seamless switchover to battery back-up. An audible alarm provides notification of a UPS condition. The products are UL-listed in the United States and Canada and are CE approved.

Additional features of the ReServ Series include supervisory status LED indicators, AC fail and low battery reporting. The units will also maintain camera synchronisation. Additionally, the units are easy to install which helps save time and reduces costly labour.

"The functionality and dependability of ReServ products make them a vital component in video surveillance systems whose operation cannot be compromised by a power disruption," said Alan Forman, President, Altronix. "These UPS solutions are designed specifically for the the demanding power requirements of professional video surveillance systems."
