Terry will help expand the scope of newly launched Hikvision Canada

Hikvision®, the world’s leading manufacturer of award-winning, innovative video surveillance products and solutions, is proud to announce that Lorne Terry has joined the company as sales director for Hikvision Canada Inc. With over twenty years of experience and a distinguished history of driving revenue growth in North America, Mr. Terry is poised to help expand the scope of the newly launched Hikvision Canada and continue the success of Hikvision in the Canadian market.

Prior work experience

Before joining Hikvision, Mr. Terry led business development efforts for Access Direct, the largest manufacturer’s representative firm in Canada’s physical security industry. There he focused on strengthening strategic relationships with distributors and integrators. Prior to Access Direct, Mr. Terry was director of North American sales for Keyscan Inc., the leading brand of access control products sold through distribution in North America. His commitment to customer service allowed him to continuously exceed revenue targets there. Before Keyscan, Mr. Terry’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to create Wesmark Sales, a highly successful manufacturer’s representative business in Vancouver, BC. Focusing on access control products and solutions, he grew the business by 600% over a ten-year period.

Prior to running his own company, Mr. Terry held leadership positions in sales and marketing and was closely involved with brand strategy and new product launches. Mr. Terry was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and now resides in the Toronto area. When asked what excites him about joining the Hikvision team, he brings up the company’s future.

Comments on the new appointment

“In addition to simply having a great line of CCTV products, Hikvision has a well-defined vision for the video surveillance industry and strategic plan to achieve their goals,” Mr. Terry commented.

“Lorne brings great leadership and longtime experience in the security industry to our organisation. I trust he will contribute to the growth of our Canadian market and lead our team to build stronger relationships with our valued partners,” remarked Jeffrey He, president of Hikvision USA Inc. and Hikvision Canada Inc. “His addition to our team reflects Hikvision’s rapid growth in Canada and our dedication to meet the demand for more personalised and localised service.”
