Raul joins Octavian Security having most recently been a training instructor for the International Bodyguard Association
Raul will manage the company's relationships with a portfolio of blue chip clients

Leading security provider Octavian Security has announced the appointment of Raul Viana as an addition to its Contract Management Team.

Raul will manage the company’s relationships with a portfolio of blue chip clients, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day service and arranging additional cover. He will also meet with them monthly to review performance, objectives and initiatives.

Having held various management roles in the security industry, Raul joins Octavian Security having most recently been a training instructor for the International Bodyguard Association (IBA), as well as an instructor for the International Law Enforcement Training Agency (ILETA).

As an instructor he specialised in defence and restraint tactics, and taught protective driving, surveillance and body guarding skills. Raul’s experience in close and executive protection spans ten years and several countries.

“It’s great to welcome Raul on board,” commented Sukhi Ghuman, Group CEO and owner of Octavian Security.

“His proven track record, affable personality and risk management expertise will be invaluable in assisting our clients to protect their people, property and information. Raul has a can-do attitude, isn’t afraid of hard work and is used to dealing with high profile people. His close protection expertise will also be sought after.”

Raul’s appointment comes just as Octavian is celebrating the achievement of a record-breaking turnover of some £15m for the year ended 2012.
