Octavian Security has been awarded membership of the British Parking Association for car park security

Octavian Security has been awarded membership of the British Parking Association's Approved Operator Scheme for car park security in the UK. The scheme is awarded to BPA members that are involved with parking enforcement services on private land or in unregulated public car parks.

Member companies are recommended for working on private or unregulated space, and operate in accordance with a Code of Practice that defines good working procedures. Tony Mellor, commercial director at Octavian Security, said: "Being a BPA Approved Operator is great news for Octavian, as it enables us to expand our services to both existing and new clients."

"The Approved Operator Scheme is a recognised high standard across the industry, and we are looking forward to building on it." In addition to the benefits of already being BPA accredited, Octavian's AOS membership now means that its officers have access to the DVLA Vehicle Keeper Database in order to fully monitor vehicles using the car parks that it provides security for. Octavian's AOS membership will be audited annually to ensure that standards are always being met.
