Octavian Security Ltd, the security arm of the Octavian Group of Companies has announced the launch of its first Canadian office.  To be based in Downtown Vancouver, Octavian Security Inc is to offer manned security solutions to Canadian organisations and also provide high end security consultancy.

The UK based, internationally operating security specialist is about to secure its first contracts in the city, which are expected to be in the construction and logistics sectors.

Octavian's worldwide client base includes Prologis, DHL, Aramex, The BBC, Sky TV, The Ryder Cup and some sections of the British Government, and it is hoping to secure some of Canada's most significant organisations once word of its unique working practices begins to spread.

This move comes less than a year after the organisation announced the launch of its Middle Eastern division, Octavian Security LLC and during the month in which it announced its joint venture with Dutch explosive detection specialist, REAS euro.

"A presence in Canada has always been an ambition of mine for Octavian Security, and I have been watching the market there for some time," explains Octavian Group managing director, Sukhi Ghuman.

"Vancouver is not a destination known for obtuse crime levels, but like the rest of modern society, business' security provisions are having to develop one step ahead of modern life and also meet the specified security requirements of increasingly demanding insurers."
