Nationally operating security company, Octavian Security, has been appointed as the official manned security supplier to the Nottingham store of Bang & Olufsen - the world's most highly respected audio, video and communications brand.

This approved supplier status will see Octavian appointed as the first choice security company for providing retail trained security officers for all future events at the store and when required during its busier periods.

Octavian first worked with the store, the largest single floor Bang & Olufsen store in the UK, when it hosted its 30th anniversary in Nottingham with a special Casino night for its valued customers.  Ian Winn, dealer principal at both the Bellar Gate and Arnold stores in Nottingham was so impressed with Octavian's guards on the night that he offered the company the future work.

Sukhi Ghuman, managing director of Octavian Security, says of his firm's latest contract:

"This is the premium home entertainment brand, with very different security needs to most retail outlets - officers here are as much concierges to add to the customer experience, as well as ensuring security.

"Retail is one of our growth areas, and this is a prestige client to add to our growing portfolio of household name retail clients.

Bang & Olufsen's Bellar Gate store opened in June 2005 and stocks the complete range of Bang & Olufsen products, from the latest flat screen and plasma televisions, to CD and audio hard drive systems and home digital telephones.
