Norbain is pleased to announce that customers can benefit from a ready upgrade path from Siemens’ Europlex to SPC leading intruder detection platform.
Siemens Legacy Europlex systems have long been industry-renowned for their good service and robust platform. However, with warranty and support coming to an end, spares and technical support are being scaled down. The good news is that APLEX, Verifier and 3GS users now have a simple four step migration path to SPC intruder detection systems, giving them privileged access to one of the most powerful, versatile and scalable intruder detection systems available today.
As well as the benefits of having a Siemens SPC system – future-proofing users’ needs and meeting all current intruder regulations – security products from Siemens offer full same day support from their Technical Competence Centre in the UK. Also, in recognition of the initial investment, they offer a system which can support existing peripherals and infrastructure, making it a more cost-effective migration.
SPC key features include:
• Up to 32, 128 and 512 free configurable zones and outputs
• Advanced door management functionality
• Support of Spur, Loop and Multidrop topology
• Multi-path communication via IP, GSM and PSTN
• Cause and effect programming
• Onboard Web-browser and IP connectivity
• Full supporting Software Suite
“This is a really exciting development for Siemens and allows them to support the large number of end users that have invested in Europlex technology over the years,” comments Hannah Broadhurst, business development manager for intruder at Norbain. “We urge installers to get in touch and find out for themselves exactly how simple the migration to SPC is and what the full benefits are to them and to their customers.”
