SmartWitness vehicle CCTV solutions include the latest 3G/4G wireless transmission cameras

Wavesight Wireless Solutions Pvt Ltd has announced a new partnership with UK-based SmartWitness. Wavesight Wireless Solutions Pvt Ltd has signed an exclusive agreement with market-leading vehicle CCTV supplier SmartWitness to supply the SmartWitness range of transport solutions to the bourgeoning Indian market. SmartWitness, a division of global CCTV manufacturer and distributor Y3K, already distributes its VOSA-compliant products, which have been approved for use in commercial vehicles, to over 50 countries around the world.

“This new partnership that Wavesight India has established is an exciting opportunity to supply integrated transport surveillance solutions to this growing market,” said David Saldanha, Managing Director Wavesight. “We’ve seen strong demand for CCTV on buses and trains to help improve passenger safety levels. SmartWitness has a long and well-established track record in delivering innovative integrated CCTV solutions for the transport industry. The SmartWitness range of vehicle CCTV solutions includes the latest 3G/4G wireless transmission cameras, which instantly transmit video of an event, as well as on-board vehicle DVRs with live viewing and playback of cameras and GPRS tracking units that can be integrated with CCTV cameras for instant event notification.

Visitors to IFSEC India 2014, which takes place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 11-13 December, will be able to see live demonstrations of the Wavesight and SmartWitness partnership in action on stand C91.
