MOBOTIX made changes within its UK management team to capitalise on strong growth in the UK

MOBOTIX AG, a leading manufacturer of digital high-resolution, network-based video security systems has released details of changes within its UK management team which aims to capitalise on strong growth in the UK.

Dominic Chapman has been promoted to UK Country Manager with responsibility for managing the operation of MOBOTIX in the UK and Ireland. “I am looking forward to helping to maintain the steady growth we have achieved in the UK and keen to engage with the partner community in what promises to be an exciting year in terms of new products and strengthened partner programme,” comments Chapman who was previously the Business Development Manager for MOBOTIX UK & Eire since 2010.

Chapman takes over from Mike Lewis who has been with MOBOTIX for nearly 7 years and has left to pursue other opportunities. Lewis commented, “It has been a real pleasure to help spread the message around an innovative and ground-breaking technology platform but I am keen to explore other avenues and progress my career in a new direction.”

Trevor Holt has been appointed as Technical Project Engineer for the UK and will be working closely with the team to define short, medium and long term initiatives to support the growth of the channel. Kristen Weber, Inside Sales Manager, will continue to support the UK team from MOBOTIX HQ in Germany.

MOBOTIX recorded a strong second quarter with revenue growth of 17% for the fiscal year compared to the prior year. Boosted by strong growth and innovative new products, MOBOTIX has also launched a new Global Partner programme that aims to help the channel partners differentiate themselves and enable better delivery of solutions.

New for 2012, MOBOTIX has launched an enhanced hardware platform and Mobile Applications as part of new remote viewing and control solutions. Innovation has been a key driver with several new products entering service in 2012 including the S14 FlexMount, the world's first flexible double hemispheric camera and the Q24 Video Analytic Camera with integrated Automatic People Counting and HeatMap technology.
