Top partners compete for the MOBOTIX UK Cowes Experience 2011
MOBOTIX organised a yachting trip in the Solent near Portsmouth for its top partners

MOBOTIX AG, a leading manufacturer of digital high-resolution, network-based video security systems has released details of an event held last month for its top partners. The exciting yachting trip in the Solent near Portsmouth involved two teams made up of representatives from leading partners racing for the MOBOTIX UK Cowes Experience 2011.

The event coincided with the end of the MOBOTIX financial year and celebrated a successful 12 months that saw MOBOTIX achieve double digit growth across its UK business.  As Mike Lewis, Business Development Director, UK & Ireland for MOBOTIX explains, "We run a 100% channel model and the day was about us showing our most active partners that we value them as well as a bit of friendly rivalry."

Lewis who led the "Mobo-Decks" team was pitted against "Dom's-daredevils" led by Dominic Chapman, Business Development Manager for MOBOTIX UK & Eire, in an all day race between the Solent and Cowes as the crew of two identical 40 foot sailing boats.

The day was well received and was open to both experienced and novices alike and as Paul Jordan, from J Brand says, "As a definite novice around boats I was a little wary about the experience, but the excellent skipper and assistant soon put this fear to rest. The company and camaraderie was excellent and the MOBOTIX hospitality exceptional!"

It was Dom's-Daredevils  that ultimately won and were presented with the cup but as Lewis explains, "The bragging rights were minimal as at the end of the day, it was all about us working together as a team whether that's on land or at sea!"
