MOBOTIX and Aceda form partnership for improved offerings of MOBOTIX’s surveillance solutions
Aceda has selected MOBOTIX as the key platform for its expansion into IP CCTV and video management
MOBOTIX AG, a leading manufacturer of digital high-resolution, network-based video security systems has announced Aceda Ltd, a highly respected IT and network services provider, as the latest member of the MOBOTIX Certified Partner Programme.

With over 20 years experience in networking and IT, Aceda has selected MOBOTIX as the key platform for its expansion into IP CCTV and video management as part of an ongoing strategy to offer more end point focused solutions delivered via converged IP networks. Based in Stokesley near Middlesbrough, the IS0 9001 registered company has a strong regional and national client base including large blue chip public and private sector organisations.

"We looked extensively at the market and selected MOBOTIX as its flexible IP capability offered an extremely good fit for our expanding portfolio," explains Nick Harker, Managing Director of Aceda. "The high resolution image quality combined with features such as SIP, two-way audio, PoE and seamless integration with physical security systems such as door and barrier systems allows us to deploy a single system across a much wider range of client projects."

Aceda were also impressed by the MOBOTIX decentralised concept which allows cameras to function without the need for powerful servers and NVR's located in a centralised control room. Helping clients to reduce carbon emissions and meet environmental targets through intelligent networking is an ongoing initiative within Aceda, the MOBOTIX concept contributes to the scheme.

Having successfully completed sales and technical training, Aceda has already won a major new client, a high profile public school, who will be utilising MOBOTIX camera technology as part of a major refurbishment of its campus.

"We are pleased to welcome a forward thinking and highly respected organisation like Aceda into our partner programme," comments Mike Lewis, UK country Manager for MOBOTIX. "As IT and CCTV networks increasingly become the same infrastructure, partners like Aceda with proven skills across both areas are becoming much sought after."
