MOBOTIX wins major award at IIPSEC 2009
MOBOTIX AG, a leading manufacturer of digital high-resolution, network-based video security systems has won the converted "IP User Group Award" presented at this years IIPSEC 2009 event. Mobotix, which beat competition from Dedicated Micros and JVC, was selected by the highest vote from a poll of 16,000 IPUG members across the UK.

Mike Lewis, MOBOTIX UK & Eire Country Manager, accepting the award at the IIPSEC Gala dinner commented: "It is a great honour for us to receive this award and reflects our strong growth in the UK and recognition of our unique approach to delivering high resolution CCTV."

MOBOTIX also shared the limelight for the "Best Hardware" award which went to Mobotix Partner SeSys for its innovative Torch Camera - a mobile, 3G enables, weatherproof, high resolution CCTV solution based on a MOBOTIX D22 camera.

Andy Hennings, Manager of IP User Group commented: "We submitted a simple statement from each vendor and a brief company description to our 16,000 members via email and they decide - this is a lovely award to win as it is entirely voted for by our members and recognises what they believe to be an outstanding company."

IIPSEC is a premier UK event dedicated to networked and digital security, life safety and BMS Technologies. This year's event played host to around 4000 participants including more than 800 delegates to 60 educational tracks and break-out sessions.
