Richard joins Essentra Security at a time that the company is implementing an ambitious plan for growth
Richard will be working closely with key customers to help identify and generate new business opportunities

Essentra Security, the UK’s leading specialist distributor of ID systems, printers and accessories, has appointed Richard Moore as its UK Director of Sales.

In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the company’s internal and field based sales personnel, Richard will be working closely with key customers to help identify and generate new business opportunities.

Reporting to Simon Jones, General Manager of Essentra Security, Richard is no stranger to the Essentra Group’s philosophy of always looking to exceed customers’ expectations, having for the last nine years held the position of General Manager of the Group’s component distribution division.

“I am excited about having the opportunity to lead and develop a highly talented sales team who share my passion for providing the highest levels of pre and post sales support,” said Richard. “Our key objective is to encourage our customers and business partners to take advantage of the market knowledge and expertise that we have acquired over the last 20 years to help them gain maximum advantage from the latest ID technologies and products.

Richard joins Essentra Security at a time that the company is implementing an ambitious plan for growth. Following on from the major investment in a new distribution centre in Banbury which opened for business in 2013 and has the capacity for over 5,000,000 stock items, the company’s product management teams are overseeing the introduction of an even broader product range with a wider choice of ID accessories and options, plus new software for card design, data management and production.
