Teleste presented the PRO MPEG FEC functionality of its Luminato headend platform with a LIVE demo at the event

The CSTB 2014 Forum was organised from 28 to 30 January, 2014 in Moscow. Teleste participated in the event with their Russian partner, Kontur-M.

Teleste presented the PRO MPEG FEC functionality of their reliable Luminato headend platform with a LIVE demo. The FEC codec module makes it possible for a Cable TV operator to provide high-quality, error free services in an optimal and flexible way. Versatile configuration options supported by numerous monitoring functions make it possible to select the most efficient method for minimising the impact of errors in the IP network.

Organised this year for the 16th time, the annual CSTB Forum is a meeting and an exhibition for TV and telecom professionals, government and business community. The event attracts more than 25,000 visitors from Russia, CIS and the Baltic States and over 500 exhibitors present the latest trends in the following areas: Digital multi-channel TV, Multiservice networks, Digital free-to-air TV and related services. This year the event also included a new “Connected TV & mobile multimedia” exposition that provides the opportunity for all exhibitors to display not only current technology and solutions but to also showcase future innovations.
