Mirasys Ltd., one of the leading suppliers of open platform Video Management and Visual Intelligence Solutions, launches its new Android application “Spotter mobile 7”. Powerful Spotter Mobile 7 brings true mobility and efficiency to video surveillance. It allows remote access to video surveillance footage via various mobile devices – such as phones and tablets.

Mobility and remote surveillance are ever more important. Mobile video surveillance might be done in very challenging situations, hence, extreme ease and speed of use was our theme when developing the new Spotter Mobile 7. You can get a grid of 4 cameras visible when a tablet device is used in a landscape mode. When you navigate the device tree, cameras are automatically opened. Swiping gestures can be used to switch between camera grids and also with individual cameras to get to full screen mode.

Spotter Mobile 7 supports all system generated alarms. This makes alarm responses faster and the situational awareness of the first responders better. The Spotter Mobile 7 user can freely choose between devices. The user’s access rights to individual devices follow the profile rights specified by the system administrator.

In addition to new features, Spotter Mobile 7 as its predecessors has, for example, easy date and time search for video footage, still images can be sent via email as JPEG files by a single tap, its PTZ control includes manual control, pre-set positions and camera tours, I/O controls, such as doors and lights, can be controlled via Spotter Mobile 7, and sites can be easily configured on the road.

Mirasys Spotter Mobile 7 shall coexist with the previous version of other Spotter Mobile applications. The new Spotter Mobile 7 will only work with Mirasys VMS version 7.0 or higher.
