The partnership promotes open-platform IP systems with enhanced storage capabilities |
The companies are demonstrating the interoperability of their products at IFSEC this week, and will be collaborating to simplify configuration, integration and support of large-scale surveillance systems. End-users will now benefit from the latest video management software combined with the most advanced integrated server and storage platform.
Representatives from Pivot3 presented at the annual Mirasys Partner Event in Barcelona recently, where more than 60 Mirasys resellers and integrators heard about new developments in networked video surveillance systems. Mirasys continues to expand partnerships that enable users to store and retrieve the large amounts of data produced from such high-resolution cameras. In the camera space, for example, Mirasys will support over 500 integrated camera models by end of 2009.
"Mirasys has been recognised as a technology leader in high-resolution, high-definition video surveillance," said Jukka Riivari, CEO of Mirasys. "This partnership with Pivot3 is another signal to our customers that we are expanding our open-platform partner base to include leading-edge server and storage technologies. It will have immediate and significant benefits for video surveillance environments and customers' ability to meet their requirements of scalability and high-availability infrastructure."
"Video customers are the ultimate winners when domain leaders like Pivot3 and Mirasys work together," said Lee Caswell, founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Pivot3. "By closely integrating state-of-the-art components of a video surveillance solution our joint customers will enjoy a streamlined environment that can smoothly scale with their requirements as they adopt the latest camera technology."
