Security Reps will cover Sony’s full line of IPELA IP, hybrid, analogue cameras, network surveillance recorders and accessories

Security Reps, an independent manufacturers’ sales representative company, announced recently that the company now represents Sony Electronics’ Security Systems Division in the Southeastern United States, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi and Alabama. Security Reps will cover Sony’s full line of IPELA IP cameras, hybrid cameras, analogue cameras, network surveillance recorders and accessories.

“In evaluating our business, we found that Sony has great, channel-centric sales strategy that meshed well with our own business model,” said David Tonsberg, president of Security Reps. “We are thrilled to be working with a company that is so dedicated to its channel relationships.” 

Security Reps has been a manufacturers’ representative in the Southeast region for nearly 20 years, serving as a business-to-business sales adviser for manufacturers of complimentary electronic security products.

“We are pleased that Security Reps has joined with Sony and will be our representative firm for security products in the Southeast,” said Mark Collett, general manager of Sony Electronics’ Security Systems Division. “We continue to be dedicated to our distribution channel and look forward to working with Security Reps on mutually beneficial projects.”
