Milestone Systems announces the hiring of three major players from the international IT arena to ramp up their management.  Lawrence de Guzman is the company’s new Marketing Director, Mads Bo Frederiksen is the new VP Sales, and Kim Macallan is the new Head of Product Management.
 
Milestone Systems is beefing up the ranks of its management with major IT muscle as a springboard into continued growth.  The company has hired Lawrence de Guzman as Director of Marketing, Mads Bo Frederiksen as VP Sales, and Kim Macallan as Head of Product Management.  All three of these men are heavy-hitters with impressive experience and proven performance in technology sectors.

Lawrence de Guzman has twenty years of professional experience after graduating Cum Laude with a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from California State University.  He comes directly to Milestone Systems from 9 years with Axis Communications, the market-leading manufacturer of IP cameras and network printers.  He most recently served as their Director of Marketing and PR after performing the role of Managing Director for the Asia Pacific operations, where he successfully built up the partner channel.
 
Mads Bo Frederiksen is a sales maven of more than 25 years with degrees from the Danish Technical College for Electronics Engineering and from the Business School of Copenhagen.  He started his career with Raytheon at their UK headquarters, moving on to JAI Engineering’s International Division, Ametek Europe, Bruhn-Newtech, and B & K Medical, building up dealer networks and managing sales of sophisticated equipment and software all over the world.  In 2000 Mads Bo Frederiksen became the Sales Manager of the Bluetooth Division of Ericsson Mobile Communications, establishing their sales functions in the US and Japan, and was promoted to Global Area Manager of EMEA when the division became its own entity: EBT Ericsson Technology Licensing.  From 2003-2006, he was the Sales Director for Teleca, the world leader in mobile phone application software with key accounts like Philips, Flextronics, Nokia and Texas Instruments.
 
Kim Macallan has a strong product management and technical profile within data communications software.  He holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Denmark’s Technical University, as well as being a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Certified Novell Engineer.  His career includes positions as Networking Consultant at K-D Data, Technical Manager and Product Manager at PC COM-SEC, and IP Architect at Ebone.  For almost nine years, he was with Danware Data, a publicly listed company developing desktop management, educational and security software sold in more than 80 countries in 14 languages, as their Technical Support Manager and Senior Manager leading Product Management, working with Business Development. Mr.Macallan has released more than 30 major software versions in international markets.

All three of these men begin their new management responsibilities at Milestone Systems as of today.
