To support the continued fast growth, Milestone Systems has been consistently expanding its staff - almost doubling within the last 12 months. There have been multiple hires in the R&D divisions, as well as new departments in key focus areas.
Claus Rønning has been appointed Country Manager for Italy. Before joining Milestone he had jobs with NOKIA, Fabbrica d'armi Pietro Beretta, and his own consulting company, LinfaVitale.
Richard Angulo has joined Milestone Systems Inc. as Territory Sales Manager, Southeast U.S. Angulo previously worked at Videoprotein Inc., where he developed business and marketing strategies for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1000 retail corporations.
Poul Ditlev Christiansen has been appointed Sales Manager responsible for retail solutions, working out of the corporate headquarters in Denmark. He brings more than 15 years of experience in high-tech sales and marketing from positions at Intermate and FLSmidth.
Jan Bjerring Aabyvester has also joined the company as Product Manager for value-added products, where he will be defining the future for Milestone Systems video analytics framework. In his earlier career, he has managed Business and Product Development at inTechnology in Australia, and served as Product Manager for Security Products at Danware Data in Denmark.
Tony Logan has been hired at Milestone in the UK as a Pre-Sales Engineer, and Gary St. Arnauld has joined Milestone in the U.S. as a Support Engineer.
Another core area continually being reinforced at Milestone Systems is Research & Development. Strong team leaders have been appointed in each development group: XProtect base products, XProtect Corporate, XProtect Core, Value-Add Products and solution integrations, consultancy, Device Support, QA and Testing. As an innovative, international software development company, Systems Engineers make up the majority of staff at Milestone Systems.
