Moxa, a leading provider of industrial networking solutions and a Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner, recently announced that the Moxa VPort 461 industrial video encoder and VPort 36-1MP IP Camera are now compatible with Milestone Systems XProtect® IP video management software via OnVIF specification integration.

"We're pleased to share that the VPort 461 and VPort 36-1MP are just the first of many Moxa IP video and IP camera products with Milestone compatibility. This support will grow across the entire Moxa IP video surveillance portfolio." explained Jacky Lin, product manager at Moxa Inc. "Milestone System's XProtect open platform IP video management software is the global industry standard, and has been deployed in thousands in applications in more than 100 countries. With support for Milestone XProtect IP video management software, Moxa's products will integrate with video surveillance systems with high interoperability, great deployment flexibility, and low installation cost."

The VPort 461 industrial video encoder supports full D1 resolution with up to 30/25 (NTSC/PAL) frames per second, three simultaneous streams, video latency under 200 ms, SD/SDHC local storage, dual Ethernet ports, pre-alarm recording and two-way audio service. Also, MOXA's new VPort 36-1MP IP camera series is the world's first IP camera that can survive from -40 to 75 degree that fits into all kind of industrial environment.

In the future, Moxa will continue release more Milestone-compatible solutions to its industrial-grade IP surveillance portfolio, which features OnVIF support, H.264 streaming, and MJPG video streaming.
