Samsung Techwin have joined the Milestone Systems' Manufacturers Alliance Programme to develop Milestone XProtect support for Samsung Techwin network surveillance products Samsung Techwin has joined the Milestone Systems' Manufacturers Alliance Programme.  This initiative will facilitate cooperation between the two companies to develop Milestone Milestone XProtect support for Samsung Techwin's network surveillance products.

During 2008 Samsung Techwin will be introducing a wide range of innovative IP cameras and other network CCTV products which will provide customers with the ability to take full advantage of the benefits offered by Video over IP.  Milestone's powerful software platform will complement these new products to ensure that Samsung Techwin's customers can achieve a truly integrated security solution.

David Hammond, General Sales Manager for Samsung Techwin's CCTV division in Europe, said: "Samsung Techwin are delighted to have established a close working relationship with Milestone Systems, a world market leader for open platform IP video management software.  Milestone shares our ambition to be at the leading edge of technology and our partnership will deliver substantial benefits to our mutual customers."

Under the partnership agreement, customers of Samsung Techwin network cameras will have the opportunity to use Milestone XProtect management software with a free one-camera license that will be included in the camera packages.  They will therefore be able to experience the powerful features and easy-to-manage user interface currently enjoyed by more than 35,000 Milestone customers worldwide.
