Antaira Technologies is a leading developer and supplier of Device Networking and Industrial Communication products and is proud to introduce its first-ever long distance Point-to-Point Preconfigured Wireless Outdoor Bridge called the APX-120N5.

Antaira Technologies’ new Point-to-Point Preconfigured (in a Pair of Units) Wireless Outdoor Bridge is IP67 and has a frequency range with IEEE 802.11a/n standard; and is a powered device (PD) with IEEE 802.3af compliant. Each unit consumes 7.5W of power with an output of 800mW. There is a maximum data rate of 150Mbps and it also supports IEEE 802.11i / 802.1x authentication.

The APX-120N5 is a preconfigured pair of units designed for rapid deployment in wireless bridge applications.  The user is not required to log onto the wireless devices to setup software or configure a wireless network. The units feature preloaded software that will allow the units to automatically connect to each other upon power up and immediately begin passing data. The pair of units has preloaded information that includes IP addresses, ESSID name and WPA2 security information

Each unit’s connection interface is 1xRJ45 – 10/100 Base T(x). Each unit has a built-in 19dBi@5GHz with dual-polarisation antenna which supports long distance communication. The units have an adjustable antenna elevation with a scale capability of 20 up/down; users can take advantage of an internal antenna alignment tool through the web console.

The APX-120N5 also features an IP67 waterproof housing that is created out of ABS flame retardant plastic. The dimensions of the unit are 86 x 257 x 257 mm (3.39 x 10.11 x 10.11 in.) and the unit weight is 1.85lbs. It has an operating temperature range of -20 to 70?C and can withstand an ambient relative humidity of 5 to 95% (non-condensing).  This device is also compliant with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
