Mayflex has split its training into sales and technical course, which enables people to attend the course that is most relevant to them
Technical course of Mayflex is ideal for engineers and installers who want to learn how to build IP solution

Following the success of Mayflex’s CCTV Over IP training last year, the company will once again be offering these free courses throughout 2012.

For those either new to or just getting started in IP surveillance, Mayflex’s free CCTV over IP training courses provide the ideal platform to learn the basics of this technology which is growing year on year at a substantial rate.

For 2012, Mayflex has refreshed the course and is splitting the single day out into 2 different courses offering both Sales and Technical orientated days, enabling people to attend the course that is most relevant to them.  This follows the valued feedback obtained from those that attended the courses in the last year.

The Sales course is aimed at decision makers and sales people who want to know more about the features and benefits of IP and how they can sell it.  Attendees will find out how to sell IP surveillance, focusing on the key elements that matter to end users.  They will also gain the knowledge to answer some of the commonly asked questions when talking to end users regarding IP based systems.

The Technical Course has a more 'hands on' approach and is for engineers and installers who need to know what the products look and feel like, and want to learn how to build an IP solution.  They will find out what all the terminology means as well as looking at the key elements involved in building an IP surveillance network.  Through the mainly practical session they will see how simple it actually is.

Gary Harmer, Security Sales Director at Mayflex, says, “We take all feedback that we get very seriously and encourage suggestions on how we can improve. Those who attended the courses in 2011 felt that more focused sessions would take them one step further.  Education and training is at the heart of what Mayflex offers and we want to make sure all of our customers have access to the right training that will enable them to sell and install IP based solutions on a 'right first time' basis. This is key in today's climate and is part of our added value offering.”

The courses are taking place in Birmingham, London and Scotland with the first dates in April.
