Mayflex was picked by the majority as the best distributor on account of their dedication towards work
Mayflex the cabling, network and security solution distributor has been voted as the best distributor

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and electronic security solutions distributor, has been voted as 'Distributor of the Year' in the Comms Expo Awards 2011. The nominees and winners of the awards were all voted for, by the readers of Netcomms Europe Magazine, who were given the chance to vote on the Netcomms website. Mayflex was picked by the majority as the best distributor, signalling that their dedication to offering a high level of customer service is being recognised in the marketplace.

Mark Simmons, Sales Director at Mayflex, says, "We are so proud to have been voted as Distributor of the Year, especially when it's an award that is voted for by the people who use the products we supply. As a company we are totally dedicated to customer service and are always striving to offer the best to our customers. Recent service based initiatives include extending our ordering time to 8pm for free next day delivery and improvements to our Trade Counter."

"We have also started to roll out a range of support services aimed at helping our customers expand their services and win new business, such as new customer facing product and technical managers, demonstration facilities in our Birmingham and City of London offices and online marketing tools. We are focussed on becoming the IP solutions partner of choice for our customers and view the support and business development tools available to our customers as essential."

Mayflex sees this award as confirmation that they are doing the right thing, but this does not mean they are going to stop progressing. "We believe in always making improvements," Mark says, "and will continue year on year to try and provide our customers with the best service possible." Mayflex has also been nominated for Distributor of the Year in the PSI Premier Awards 2011, the results of which are due out in June. This is another significant boost for the company.
