The Mayflex Trade Counter is accessible to anyone whether they are current customers or not

The Trade Counter at Mayflex's Birmingham Headquarters

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and security solutions distributor, has given the Trade Counter at its Birmingham Headquarters, a refresh. Customers can still order from 6am to 6pm, but now there are new product displays, far more offers available, it's easier for customers to buy a range of products on the spot, and it's been made more comfortable for customers who need to wait for their items.

The Mayflex Trade Counter is open to anyone, whether they are current customers or not. A person can just drop in and buy an item over the counter or they can call in and collect pre-ordered items at their convenience, even on the same day. As part of the refresh, Mayflex has enhanced its Online Ordering facility so now customers can place their order online and it will be ready for them to collect directly from the counter. Customers can place orders online right up until to 8pm ready to be collected from the Trade Counter the very next day from 6am.

Martin Eccleston, Commercial Manager at Mayflex, comments, "The Trade Counter is a fantastic facility for anyone either working in or passing by the area, enabling them to collect their orders at a time to suit them. Customers are also able to buy items directly without placing an order prior to their arrival, making it ideal for any last minute requirements that crop up."

Martin continues, "We have invested time in our staff, who have all had product and system training, ensuring customers are given the assistance they need.  We have also introduced a new smart uniform, which will help customers identify counter staff much more easily."

Anyone wanting to order products online to collect can do so using the Xtra partner area of the Mayflex website. Customers just need to log in, select their chosen items, choose to collect them, and they will be ready for them when they arrive at the counter.
