Physical security solutions distributor, Mayflex, receives two nominations in Microscope Aces Awards 2010
Mayflex's marketing team is responsible for promoting each of the key divisions - Infrastructure, Networking and Security

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security solutions distributor, is very pleased to have been shortlisted in two categories in the Microscope Aces Awards 2010.

This is the second consecutive year that Mayflex has been shortlisted for the Distributor Marketing Team of the Year award and the first time for the Logistics Team of the Year award.

The marketing team at Mayflex are especially pleased with the nomination for the marketing award. The category particularly focuses on helping and supporting customers through marketing and this is what Mayflex does really well. The marketing team is responsible for promoting each of the key divisions - Infrastructure, Networking and Security - and helping the relevant installation companies and integrators in each area to promote the products that they buy from the company. In the majority of cases Mayflex's partners don't have their own marketing department, so the marketing team assists any customer that requires help.

Being short listed for the Logistics Team of the Year award is another great success and again really highlights the excellent customer service that Mayflex offers. Everything the Logistics team does is with the customer in mind and offering the best quality service is of optimum importance.

Mayflex's customer service is highlighted as the security solutions distribution company is short listed for two awards

Mayflex has an outstanding service record, with over 99% of deliveries being made on time, but the service level goes much further than this. Mayflex provides a Trade Counter, open from 6am to 6pm, allowing customers to drop by and get the items they need when they need them. They also offer an excellent delivery service. Not only can customers order up until 8pm to get free next day delivery, but they can choose how they want things delivered. In addition to the fundamental delivery options of free standard or earlier deliveries at cost, they can also request a text message be sent to them informing them of the delivery. And this service is completely free of charge.

In addition to all of this, Mayflex operates a Track and Trace service. Once an item has left the distribution centre the company still supports customers allowing them to get real time information on their deliveries.

Going above and beyond is the minimum service that the Logistics team offers and through constantly talking to and listening to customers, and providing them with the service they want in the way they want it, Mayflex aims to consistently be the partner of choice.

At the core of Mayflex's offering, whether it's from the Marketing or the Logistics team, or the Customer Services or Projects department, is a well-rounded service. The company stands behind its motto of "Service Excellence, Through Experience and Flexibility" and being short listed for these awards highlights the excellent service that Mayflex has given, and is committed to continually give, its customers.
