Mayfire, cable, networking and physical security provider, has an online ordering service
Any customers can now place their order online via ‘Xtra', the company's partner area of the Mayflex website
Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security solutions distributor, has extended its ordering time, and customers can now place orders up until 8pm for free next day delivery.

At Mayflex, customer service is of optimum importance, and this latest service improvement is yet another example of the company understanding its customers' requirements. Previously, customers could order up until 6pm for free next day delivery, but this was still too early for some. Mayflex believes that extending the ordering hours until 8pm will prove to be a real benefit to their broad customer base.

Any customer can now place their order online via ‘Xtra', the company's partner area of the Mayflex website (http://www.mayflex.com/), up until 8pm and still receive the same great service, getting their deliveries where they want them, free of charge, the very next day.

Mayflex is driven by customer service, standing behind a motto of ‘Service Excellence, Through Experience and Flexibility'. Established in 1917, the company's reputation has been built on its continual pushing of the boundaries in product development and customer service. As well as strengthening its nationwide field sales team over recent months, Mayflex offers its customers support through its dedicated Projects Team, Marketing and free of charge Technical Support. The company also regularly reviews levels of service by conducting customer surveys.

Xtra also provides numerous other benefits, such as enabling users to download product specification sheets and brochures

As well as being able to order up until 8pm for free next day delivery, Xtra also provides numerous other benefits, such as users being able to download product specification sheets and brochures, which can be personalised with a logo and contact details. They can also access account information and view stock availability. When ordering online, not only can a user place orders until 8pm for free next day delivery, but they can create their own Planning List which will record a list of chosen products saving a great deal of time.

Marketing Manager, Tracey Calcutt comments: "Xtra has been a massive hit with our customers. The market has changed so much in recent months; everyone is working to strict deadlines, margins are tight and high levels of customer service throughout the supply chain are crucial, so extending our ‘working day' by a couple of hours is a great benefit to our customers. This is just another way in which working with Mayflex makes life easier."

Andrew Percival, Managing Director at Mayflex, comments: "Providing excellent service is something we pride ourselves on at Mayflex. Quite simply, our customers' requirements come first. And this really is a case of actions not words. Whilst many of our competitors talk about excellent service, we deliver. Our 6pm cut off time was already better than most offerings in the market, and extending this to 8pm gives our customers another 5 hours compared to some suppliers in the market who seem to think the working day ends at 3pm!! This service applies across our entire range of stocked products, from patch leads, cables cut to length and cabinets, through to Ethernet hardware and physical security solutions. We know of no other company offering this level of service."

‘Service excellence, through experience and flexibility' totally encapsulates Mayflex. Customers can order what they want, when they want it, and in a way that pleases them. They don't even have to know their account number or specific part codes. Giving customers the opportunity to order until 8pm is just the latest part of Mayflex's offering. There is no doubt Mayflex will continue to increase its customer service levels, leaving just one question: what will be next?
