Mayflex has become a leading distributor of cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security
Mayflex is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new London office. Situated in the heart of the City, opposite the landmark ‘Gherkin' building, the new premises will be home for a London focused sales team and a suite of demonstration products taken from across the Mayflex range.

The new office highlights Mayflex's commitment to growth, even in these difficult times. With many key industry contacts being based in London, the move to the City is an obvious step as Mayflex aims to raise its profile.

As well as wanting to be able to offer an enhanced customer service, the move also reflects Mayflex's commitment to its suppliers. With many suppliers understanding the great opportunities available in and around the Capital, the need for a distributor to be situated in the City is of great importance, and Mayflex is determined to meet the needs these demands.

The opening of the London office has allowed Mayflex to employ new staff and offer promotions from within, which is so important in a difficult climate. The team will be led by Seamus Ryan bringing over 20 years of experience to this business.

Andrew Percival, Managing Director for Mayflex, comments: "There is no doubt that the market is tough at the moment, but this investment and positive announcement is a reaction to the great opportunities still out there. London is a key market for our sector and we see this new office as an important part of our growth plans for the future."

The overall aim of the new office is to provide a higher level of service. Having strong sales and technical resources in IP Communications Products and Solutions in the Capital will no doubt mean that Mayflex will be able to offer much more to their customer base that exists in the market today. So many key players, from Integrators, Consultants and FTSE 250 companies choose London as their base, and Mayflex knows that to truly offer the best in class service, they need to be in the City.

Andrew continues: "We want this to be an office that people can come and visit so we can support them correctly. We deliberately chose such a great location, in Holland House, Bury Street, EC3A, to be as close to as many key businesses as possible. With the new demonstration suite we want our client base to come to the office and look and evaluate the products themselves, which is so much more valuable than just speaking on the phone."

Opening in November 2009, this is a very exciting time for Mayflex and all of its people. This is just the start of a great new step for the company.
