Ian Irving joins Mayflex
 Ian Irving will join Mayflex as Regional Sales Manager, Midlands and North, for Infrastructure Products

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security solutions distributor, has confirmed yet another significant recruitment to the business with the appointment of Ian Irving in the role of Regional Sales Manager, Midlands and North, for Infrastructure Products. Irving joins Mayflex after 15 years at Connectix, where his most recent role was that of Commercial/Sales Director. 

Andrew Percival, Managing Director commented: "Having competed against Irving many times over the years we are delighted to be bringing him on board, his proven sales, customer relationship skills and winning attitude are just the qualities we demand in our business. This is a fantastic appointment for Mayflex it strengthens our sales and strategic management team, and will assist in the achievement of our long terms goals to increase market share in the infrastructure market over the coming years."

As a result of Irving's appointment, Mayflex will restructure its current field sales teams into two geographically focused units, enabling closer account management, improved business development focus, and a generally more customer focused approach to long term business relationships.  Irving will join the business on September 2nd, and the new structure will take effect from October 1st, following an intense induction programme.

Mayflex has confirmed yet another significant recruitment to the business with the appointment of Ian Irving in the role of Regional Sales Manager  

Percival continued: "With our current growth plans, Irving's appointment is crucial in assisting us achieving our potential.  Irving will work alongside John Twidell who will be responsible for the Southern sales team and will take a more active role in developing our presence in Central London, especially as the City gets ready for the London Olympics in 2012.

Percival concluded: "With the recent appointments of Seamus Ryan as Strategic Develop Manager and Peter Hawtin as Infrastructure Product Manager, Mayflex is investing significantly in senior, strategically important positions at a challenging time for the market.  We have added over 50 years of industry experience and expertise to our business in the last 3 months,  We realise that as a business  our most important assets are our people and these latest appointments will significantly strengthen our already loyal and committed team."
