He served 15 years in the Royal Navy as a communications and avionics engineer and has most recently spent his time running a consultancy practice advising businesses, government and corporate organizations on the application of technology to improve business processes.

Charlie will be undergoing an induction period at Mayflex's headquarters in the UK and will assume his role in Dubai on the 11th December. He will be responsible for further developing the sales and marketing strategy for the division and involved in visiting existing partners and working to establish new relationships throughout the Middle East region.

"This appointment is a significant step in the growth of our Middle East operations. Charlie's knowledge of the industry and experience of the region, together with his invaluable sales background, will be key in helping us to achieve the aggressive sales plans in place for the future and strengthen the name of Mayflex throughout the industry. Charlie's role will be primarily in sales but he will also help to develop the business overall and continue our growth in the right direction. I am confident that he will make a huge impression not only on his work colleagues but our business partners alike," says Managing Director Gary Highton.

Charlie Bass, Sales Director of the ME operation comments: "This new role for Mayflex will be an exciting and challenging position. In my view the combination of products and skills within Mayflex makes them the partner of choice for IP infrastructure projects across the Middle East. I look forward to the role and helping to take the Middle East division to the next level. The team has already been successful creating a $10 million plus business from its initial setup. Our goal is to expand this further working closely with our existing partners as well as establishing new relationships throughout the Middle East. I will be using my time at Mayflex's headquarters in the UK to familiarize myself with all existing company processes and procedures."
