Mayflex adds Mobotix T24 to its range of IP based security solutions
Mobotix T24 Video IP Door Station
Mayflex has added the MOBOTIX T24 Video IP Door Station to its catalogue of IP based security solutions.

The T24 incorporates a 360° high-resolution camera to capture images of the entire area in front of a building's entrance without any blind spots. When a doorbell is rung, a connection is established with an onsite VoIP video phone allowing the occupier to see and communicate with the visitor. A key feature of the T24, however, is that video and audio communication can also be achieved via a desktop PC or laptop and if required, a door can be opened remotely.

The T24, which is based on the international video telephony standard VoIP/SIP and uses H.264 compression, has an integrated message feature which allows occupiers when they are going out to leave personalised messages which are automatically played back when a visitor rings the doorbell. Also included in the T24's long list of innovative features is the ability to continuously record activity taking place outside a building's entrance or the recording can be triggered by motion detection.

"I am confident that our growing list of customers who are installing IP based access control and door entry systems will take a keen interest in the T24," says Rebecca Hutchings, a Security Specialist for Mayflex. "It outperforms traditional door entry systems which often only record when a visitor is standing in front of the camera and, in addition to the remarkable 360° field of view provided by the T24's 3.1 megapixel hemispheric camera, there is also a digital pan, tilt and zoom function to allow users to look more closely at a particular part of an image. The remote control facility, which means that the owner of a property can control access from anywhere in the world, is also likely to prove to be an attractive feature."

Mayflex, a leading distributor of cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security products, supports and services markets for IP communication solutions by providing flexible ordering and tracking facilities, a dedicated demonstration suite and knowledgeable sales, projects and technical support teams, all backed by a motto of service excellence.
