AVer, a global provider of education and business solutions, has released a free enhanced version of the CM5000 CMS, creating one of the most manageable user interfaces on the market. In addition, AVer has enhanced the performance of its E5000 series NVRs including the E5016H/E5016 and released five free feature upgrades for IP cameras. This wide range of free improvements ensures that users continue to have the latest technology and features at their fingertips.

The updated version of the CM5000 CMS has helped to create a more effective, user-friendly security solution. The CM5000 can now be displayed across four monitors making this one of the most manageable central management systems on the market. Additionally, the remote schedule backup function allows the user to automatically backup the data at regular scheduled intervals, adding extra layers of storage security to your valuable data.

The E5016/E5016H now supports RAID 10, which combines four disks and mirrors all data to a secondary disk ensuring that your data is stored even more securely. AVer has further enhanced the surveillance solution offered to users by providing them with the option of being able to automatically upload files to Dropbox or YouTube when an alarm is triggered, increasing users viewing options in the case of an emergency.

AVer has added five free IVA features for over 15 of its stoutest IP cameras. Corridor Mode rotates the camera 90° and enables portrait-style (9:16), as opposed to the default widescreen (16:9) format, giving maximum coverage of long narrow scenes. In order to improve the accuracy of triggered alarms, we have added Missing/Suspicious Object which triggers an alarm when an object appears or disappears from a defined area. Tamper Detection triggers an alarm if an attempt to tamper with the camera is made. Finally, the Cross Detection feature triggers an alarm when a virtual tripwire placed across any live IP camera feed is crossed.
